Hey long time reader, first time commenter. Man, it is such a delight to hear your voice every week! I read every report and through the ups and downs and ups again, your candor and wit and heart... it's such a balm for the soul. Too high of praise? Nay. Your writing and constancy gives me strength and hope in my own life when things are rough, as well as joy and laughter. Glad you're still in my life, even if just in print. And +1 to god awful TVs in hospitals. I gave up on the one in my room, and somehow wound up watching the last papal conclave. A nun happened to be coming by to check on me, saw it was all about to go down, and asked if she could stay & watch. So we did. Kinda awesome in a weird way.
In the second picture down, with your hand on your hip, you look like you are delivering a critique of the hallway décor. And it does not meet with your expectations.
I'm glad your surgery went well and that your recovery is moving right along. Sorry I can't comment on Roar. I just remember the short lived TV series by that name.
