Oh thank you for putting into coherent, brilliant, humorous words what I’ve thought for some time.

She's working on it. Right now it's a lot of sleeping, while her body heals, but the new knee does work!

You cover so many topics! I'm glad surgery went well. Your comparison to rotating tires was hilarious. And come on man, not everything is Taco Bell. There's still great Sword And Sorcery being published!

It's true, you gotta go off the beaten path to get good stuff these days. We just need to make sure people know about those paths.

I saw that KISS movie when it originally aired on TV. I'm not a KISS fan, so it won't surprise folks I think they acted better than they sang. As for your theory about replacement, maybe it's just my imagination, but Martha seems a bit different after the TV series came out. Know a good way to check?

See if there's a USB port at the base of her skull.

I was of the age in the 1970s where KISS fit right into the same bucket with comic books, monster movies, etc. I mean, if you have MEGO action figures, you must be doing something right!? And not for nothing, but Gene Simmons at least has the charisma to pull off small roles in other movies. Tom Selleck's Runaway comes to mind.

This is why we need a new force to take on the Phantom. I nominate GWAR.

In the '70s Joe Barbera was trying to build Hanna-Barbera into something akin to Disney (now more than then), but nearly everything live-action he produced was a suck-fest. So Hanna and the staff said "quit doing this stuff", and he did.

They peaked with The Banana Splits show.

I think it’s a crime that the Banana Splits are not yet in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They inspired everyone from Gorillaz to Bob Marley!
