NTAW: The First Audio Post

Wherein our host gets his feet wet...
13

Hey folks!

I’m not going to do this with all of them, but I’m testing out the audio features on Substack. I recorded a little something that’s less than three minutes long, and it’ll be an example of what the podcast will sound like (only with actual production values, you know, because, of stuff). This was really just an audio quality test, so everyone (not just the paid subscribers) can hear it.

Eventually, though, some of these posts will disappear behind the paywall. Those will be the special posts, for subscribers, and they will get sneak previews, exclusive shorts and maybe even some outtakes.

If you want to support this nascent endeavor, you can change your free subscription to a paid subscription at any time. Remember, though: the newsletter is free, and it always will be.

The North Texas Apocalypse Bunker Weekly Report
The North Texas Apocalypse Watch and Family Fun Hour: a 30-Minute Program
Join Mark Finn as he talks to his neighbors and fellow bunker residents in the North Texas town of Vernon, Texas, and gets their take on all things modern and apocalyptic. Sure, the world is on fire, but the city council is still holding open meetings, and by God, someone will answer for those purple trash cans on the courthouse square.
The NTAW is a chicken-fried version of the Prairie Home Companion by way of Greater Tuna. It’s small town life like you’ve never seen it...and also exactly as you remember it!
